COVID-19 Guidance and Requirements as of November 29, 2021

Attendance at and participation in the North Coast Wine Industry Expo is subject to compliance with Wine Industry Network and the Sonoma County Fairgrounds event facilities’ policies and procedures to implement current CDC, State of California, Sonoma County, and City of Santa Rosa recommendations and requirements, which include, but are not limited to, wearing an approved and properly worn mask, social distancing, being seated while drinking and eating, staying at home or in your hotel if you’re feeling unwell and leaving the venue immediately if feeling unwell or showing COVID-19 symptoms.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wine Industry Network is making necessary adjustments & prioritizing participant well-being as our top priority.

We must start with an acknowledgement the situation remains fluid and subject to change as circumstances dictate. At present, together, with the Sonoma County Fairgrounds and based on current mandates from the State of California, Sonoma County, and City of Santa Rosa, we plan for the following:

  1. Face Masks Are Required in All Indoor Spaces (No Exceptions)
  2. Attendees Will be Subject to a Temperature Scan Before Being Allowed into the Event
  3. Occupancy is Limited to 1,000 Attendees Per Building at One Time
  4. Hand-Sanitizing Stations Will be Placed Throughout the Event
  5. Physical Distancing Indoors Whenever Possible
  6. Elbow Bumps Only – No Handshakes or Hugs, Please

Hotels within the Official room block have been following procedures and protocols developed in consideration of guidance and information shared by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), other leading organizations and experts and local government requirements and guidance. Conference Registration typically opens the 3rd-4th week of August. If you sign up for email updates, you will be notified when registration opens, as well as other deadline reminders.

Full Conference Passes (in-person) start at $200 with discounts offered via an "Early-Bird" registration period.

It will depend on current state of COVID-19, and will evolve, but expect new health and safety protocols that will be part of all events moving forward into the future. Protocols may include sanitizing, safe distancing and masks, proof of vaccination, and/or negative COVID-19 tests. More information can be found in the section above "COVID-19 Guidance & Updates"

That will depend on current rules regarding large gatherings at the time. We are planning the event with an eye toward maintaining COVID-19 cautious health and safety protocols such as safe distancing, masks and increased sanitizing.
